ABOUT NABJ BLACK NEWS & VIEWS
NABJ Black News & Views is a destination site for the best journalism on issues that affect the Black community in the United States and the world. We feature original work from a team of contributors and members of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), as well as journalism from more than 30 partners, including the Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal and Mother Jones. We also are part of AP StoryShare, a network of Black-owned news organizations who share work with one another. NABJ launched BNV in the summer of 2022.
Damon Jackson, NABJ Black News & Views’ social media editor, is a social media aficionado whose musings are intended to be both thought-provoking and relatable. He enjoys Black history and giving the public a view of past and present lifestyles as seen through the Black lens.
