NABJ Black News & Views, a division of the National Association of Black Journalists, began publishing in June of 2022. We feature the best journalism about Black life in the United States and around the world. Our stories have focused on everything from the backstory as to why and how Black filmmakers are locked out of Oscar politics to wisdom shared by a Black Virginia woman as she turned 110-years-old, and from in-depth coverage of elections by a Pulitzer-winning journalist to the recollections of survivors of the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.
