Cary Junior High student assaulted on way to bus stop, authorities say

The incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. as the Cary Junior High School student walked to a school bus stop near West Pittner Avenue and Hickory Nut Grove Road, the Lake County sheriff’s office said.
