Salute to Excellence:
The best of award-winning journalism about Black life
Each year, BNV’s parent organization – the National Association of Black Journalists – recognizes the most insightful, hard-hitting coverage of people or issues of the African/Black-American diaspora. Here are some of the winning and nominated entries from NABJ’s most recent Salute to Excellence contests. Please note that we are adding entries to this page on a daily basis. If you do not see a particular piece of work that should be included, we are probably about to post it and ask that you check back in a few days.
