WBEZ and Chicago Sun-Times agree to pursue merger as nonprofit news organization

Chicago Public Media and the Chicago Sun-Times signed a non-binding letter of intent to “explore joining together” WBEZ-FM 91.5 and the daily newspaper as a nonprofit news organization.
