A mural honoring late Cincinnati Reds’ second baseman and National League Most Valuable Player Joe Morgan will be unveiled and dedicated Saturday.

During Morgan’s eight seasons with the Reds from 1972 to 1979, he was a 10-time All Star and two-time World Series champion, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The mural is being painted by a team of six artists led by  painter Brent Billingsley on the side of the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy in Roselawn, Ohio.

Morgan died at age 77 last October of an unspecified polyneuropathy, or nerve condition.
