Fans have fallen in love with the backstory of Montana Love, a formerly incarcerated person who fought his way to a better life so he could become a better father. Momentum over his success in the boxing ring built as he approached Saturday’s match with Australian Stevie Spark.
But Love wound up losing the match in Cleveland because of a referee’s disqualification.
After a head butt that caused a cut over Love’s left eye, he began slamming roundhouses at Spark. The ensuing brawl lifted Love up and over the ropes, sending him down into the concrete floor.
