The dead body of a Black Alabama woman missing for 12 days has been found in a parked, unoccupied police van in Huntsville, police said.

An officer discovered the body of Christina Nance, 29, on Oct. 7th in the van parked in a police department parking lot, National Public Radio reports the Huntsville Police Department says

Nance was last seen Sept. 25th. Her family reported her missing on Oct. 2. 

Huntsville city camera captured Nance entering the unoccupied van on the afternoon of Sept. 25th, NPR reports.

Police said a Madison County, Ala., autopsy showed no foul play or trauma in her death.

The young woman’s family is now calling for an investigation.
