SPORTS HISTORY IN BLACK: Ali comes out of retirement to fight Holmes

The late Muhammad Ali is one of the greatest boxers of all-time. He won an Olympic gold medal and was a three-time heavyweight champion during his career. And not only was he a great boxer, but he was also someone who talked trash and backed it up. It was almost prophetic the way he spelled out how things were going to happen in the ring.

But one thing that stars can’t do sometimes is leave the spotlight for whatever reason that maybe and this was true for Ali. But in this instance, he decided to come back quickly to fight Larry Holmes because he needed the money. It ended horribly as Holmes dominated Ali.
