WATCH: Morisseau relies on Haitian-American roots with new play ‘Bad Kreyol,’ shares thoughts on Springfield

Theater buffs know playwright/actress Dominique Morisseau from “Ain’t Too Proud — The Life and Times of the Temptations,” “Skeleton Crew,” and more. But now, Morisseau is dropping a new play, “Bad Kreyol,” that draws partly on her Haitian-American roots. Morisseau talked with BNV about her work and recent developments involving the Haitian-American community, including Donald Trump’s claims that they were stealing pets and eating them in Springfield, Ohio.
