Netflix, based in Los Gatos, Calif., is teaming up with Howard University, an HBCU in Washington, D.C., to offer a scholarship named after late Black Panther star and Howard alum Chadwick Boseman.

The school and the film-streaming company have established a $5.4-million scholarship that they have awarded to four students. Each award will pay for full tuition at Howard’s School of Fine Arts, The Los Angeles Times reports.

Netflix is the inaugural donor to the scholarship. Boseman died Aug. 28, 2020, of cancer. He was 43-years-old.
