A gold medal for the USA 1984 basketball team
The Dream Team of 1992 was the greatest Olympic basketball team ever. But before that team was put together, Michael Jordan, Chris Mullin and Patrick Ewing teamed up at the 1984 Olympics on the USA basketball team. The three were not as popular as they would become in the NBA but they would get the job done. And on August 15, 1984, in Los Angeles, the trio led the United States to a gold medal. Who knew this was just a preview to the Michael Jordan we would come to know and the Dream Team that we would see eight years later?
