Sports history in Black: First time father and son play on same baseball team

On August 31, 1990, Ken Griffey Jr. and Ken Griffey Sr. were in the lineup together for the Seattle Mariners, making them the first father and son to play on the same team. Griffey Jr. went on to have a great career in Major League Baseball, making great catches and hitting huge home runs.
