Basketball great LeBron James keeps defying Father Time.
As he enters his 22nd season and closes in on turning 40 this year, the small forward whose talent comes only once in a generation produces each time he touches the court. Everywhere he goes, he wins.
James won two titles in Miami during his time there after leaving Cleveland in 2010. He then returned to Cleveland in 2014 and brought home a title.

James then left for Los Angeles to aim for a title there. The start of his journey in the City of Angels did not go as planned as there were injuries and trades. But when the 2019-2020 season started, the Lakers and James would go on a journey full of life’s ups and downs. The Lakers would start hot, hit a lull and then go on to win the most unconventional NBA title as the Covid pandemic hit.
On Oct. 11, 2020, the Lakers would finish an incredible season, beating the Miami Heat 106-93 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals and claiming the Lakers’ 17th title. The MVP of it all: LeBron James. And with that, James became the first player ever to win a Finals MVP award with three different teams.
