SPORTS HISTORY IN BLACK: Milwaukee Bucks, led by Middleton, reach NBA Finals

The Milwaukee Bucks, led by forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, were in search of a title
in the 2021 professional basketball season. They traded for guard Jrue Holiday to bolster their backcourt, and with what they had, the optimism was there for the Bucks, and their play justified it. They made it to the Eastern Conference Finals, one step away from the NBA Finals and a chance for a title. Their opponent: the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks fought tough against the Bucks, led by point guard Trae Young. Eventually,
the Bucks would defeat the Hawks in six games, with the final game taking place on
July 3, 2021. Khris Middleton would lead the Bucks in scoring with 32 points in Game 6
and the Bucks would make it to their first NBA Finals since 1974. The Bucks would
eventually win the NBA Title a couple of weeks later versus the Phoenix Suns.
