There are plenty of legends in New York Knicks basketball. One of those outstanding players is Walt Frazier. The incredible guard was a fixture on the Knicks championship teams. Another incredible player for the Knicks was forward Bernard King, who could light things up in the scoring column. But one Knick that many could identify with was Patrick Ewing.

The talented athlete never won a title for New York, but he always gave his best on both ends of the court. On defense, he would rebound and block shots. And on offense, he would grow his game with a jump shot and different array of moves in the post. Ewing would play the majority of his career in New York and because of that, he was able to stack up some impressive stats.
One of those impressive moments that produced a key moment for him in Knicks history
happened on Feb. 21, 2000, when he scored 15 points against the Los Angeles Clippers in an 87-76 win. In scoring 15 points, Ewing reached a total of 23,157 career points, passing forward Elgin Baylor for 16th place on the NBA all-time scoring list.
