Sports history in Black: Recognition for the inventor of a folding bicycle frame

Most of us know the names of those who have made significant inventions that are part of our daily lives. Benjamin Franklin invented electricity.  Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. But what about some of the other inventions that people use everyday but no one mentions who invented the product?

On October 10, 1899, Isaac R. Johnson created a bicycle frame that could be easily folded or stored. He filed a patent for his invention.  Many people use it, whether for traveling, for exercise or in cycling events. And now you know the name of the person who invented the flexible bicycle frame.
