Earl Campbell was a beast running the football. He dominated at the University of Texas and then brought that same type of aggression to the NFL with the Houston Oilers. And in his time there, he ran around and through opposing teams on his way to one MVP trophy and two Offensive Player of the Year awards in his first three seasons.

Campbell would slow down after his first three seasons, but he was still a talented running back in the NFL. And on August 18, 1986, after eight years in the NFL, Campbell retired from the game.
