Sports history in Black: Earl Boykins

November 11- Earl Boykins has never been the tallest player on the court, standing at 5 feet, 5 inches. However, he was a very explosive scorer at times in the NBA and on this day, he became the smallest player in NBA history to score over 30 points, when he scored 32 points in a 117-109 victory in Detroit while he was a member of the Denver Nuggets.
