Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth and even Mark McGwire are usually mentioned among the greatest home run hitters of all-time. Add Barry Bonds to that group.
He had a legendary career, and on Oct. 4, 2001, he etched his name in home run history. Bonds hit his 70th home run of the season in a San Francisco Giants 10-2 win against the Houston Astros. His 70th home run tied McGwire for the most home runs in a single season.
