Top 10 Black Players in the NBA

The NBA season is fastly approaching and with that, people will be putting out their Top 10 players. With that being said, here is the Top 10 Black NBA players in the NBA.

  1. Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets)

Durant is lethal on the basketball court. He can create his own shot, create for others and hit from all levels on the court. He also can be an effective defender, contesting and blocking shots along with individual defense at times.

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks)

The Greek Freak has showed us time and time again how dominant he can be. Despite not having a jump shot, he can dominate a game, not only on the offensive end but on the defensive end as well, whether he is the primary defender or not.

  • LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Heading into his 19th season, LeBron James is still one of the most dominant players in the NBA. His passing and basketball IQ helps get his teammates open shots and easier shots and with him on your team, you’re always in the running for the NBA title. Also the jump shot is improved over his time in the league.

  • Steph Curry (Golden State Warriors)

If anyone doubted the effect Steph had on teams, then they surely won’t question that after his last season. He carried the Warriors to the brink of the playoffs with his elite-level shooting, unlimited range and his playmaking ability. He doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.

  • Kawhi Leonard (Los Angeles Clippers)

His game has continued to evolve more and more as he has been in the NBA. He can take over games at any point with his defensive and offensive abilities. The only thing that continues to hold him back over the last couple of seasons is his health. But there is no doubt that he deserves to be mentioned in the top players in the NBA.

  • Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers)

Sure, he got hurt last season and may not have been in the best shape, but there is no doubt that he is one of the best big men in the NBA. His versatility of being able to post up, shoot all the way out to the three-point line and be able to defend the rim makes him one of the jewels of the league.

  • James Harden (Brooklyn Nets)

People can clown his flopping and his defensive abilities as much as they want, but Harden is one of the best offensive weapons in the NBA. He can not only shoot with range, but he can make the game easier for teammates with his passing ability from the point guard spot. He is literally on triple-double watch everytime he touches the court.

  • Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns)

Booker has been getting better and better with time and with the last run the Suns had in the playoffs, that has given the basketball world a glimpse into how good he is and can be. He is one of the best scorers in the NBA by far and he hasn’t even reached his prime yet.

  • Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers)

Embiid is definitely one of the most talented big men in the NBA. He can post up, shoot from range and handle the ball on occasion as well. He has shown that he can carry a team offensively when needed to. The only question has always been health…and sometimes wondering away from the basket a little too much.

  1. Damian Lillard (Portland Trailblazers)

People may agree or disagree with Lillard here, but he is definitely one of the best players in the NBA and one of the top points guards as well. Like Steph Curry, he has unlimited range and when he is in a zone, he can carry a team and change a game.
