Just before the Los Angeles Rams began their midday practice, their star cornerback Jalen Ramsey called Odell Beckham Jr. to talk about why L.A. would be the place for him. All of the Rams players took turns telling him what it is like to play for the team.

General manager Les Snead has agreed to a one-year contract with Beckham. He is joining an offense led by quarterback Matthew Stafford and adds to the depth chart consisting of Cooper Kupp, Robert Wood and Van Jefferson.

Beckham was also considering joining the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots. In Los Angeles, he will be replacing wide receiver DeSean Jackson who was released after a trade decline. Jackson signed with the Las Vegas Raiders this week.
