Jerry Rice signed a one-day contract with the San Francisco 49ers so he could officially retire with the team he ended the NFL with and played for the majority of his career. In his career with the 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, Rice was a three-time Super Bowl champion, the 1987 NFL MVP, two-time NFL Player of the Year along with amassing 1,549 career receptions, 197 career touchdown receptions and 22,895 career receiving yards. True greatness personified.
